  • Fundraised £200k & offered at least 120 hours in kind to 47 in need artists during the first lockdown (March-Oct 2020) - retaining all within the industry.

  • Supported artistic directors across the UK through our Big Skies programme and arranged our first retreat in Oct 2020.

  • Co-conceived and Produced Random Acts of Art (Mar-May 21) in lockdown employing 60 SW artists to create 40 socially distanced surprise wonder encounters (approx 10000 people across St Austell Bay Area)

  • Launched The Island (Jan-July 2021). Live/online hybrid programme for 35 diverse artists and activists. Programme included provocations, retreats, workshops, coaching, R&Ds, peer & producing support. Driven by inclusivity & the desire to connect experiences challenging the complex narratives in rural regions. Offering connection, support & space for all. Outcomes of this support = 15 productions in development, new collaborations & 2 new companies.

  • Pagan Pandemonium (Aug 21) by Seamas Carey, a free open access community gameshow in a collaboration with New Wolsey Ipswich/Tate St Ives. Collaboration between Cornish concept & Ipswich community.

  • Spearheaded an Associate initiative (Sept 21) on Theatre Royal Plymouths NHS the Musical offering 3 paid placements.

  • ARRIVAL (Oct 21) large scale community co-created performance in Newham (ACE priority area) commissioned by Royal Docks involving 70 professionals, 500 community members, 56 community groups, & 170 participant performers (students, schools & residents) + we built an accessible bridge across the water and featured Little Amal within one of the shows. The project involved 4 Island artists; Matthew Dunster Sophie Ellerby, Conrad Murray & Emma Cameron.

  • Augmented Reality project (Oct 21) with 120 under 16’s from London Design and Engineering College alongside ARRIVAL.

  • Podcast The Reason Why & parallel production Help I Think I’m a Nationalist with Island artist Seamas Carey (Jan 22) – exploring the complexities of identity, nationalism, patriotism, rural racism & xenophobia. Sell out Cornwall tour & successful podcast made the National news & created a vibrant local/national debate. UK Tour planned for Autumn 22.

  • Continued our support of women to arrange a One Billion Rising event in Cornwall with KERPOW (Feb 22)

  • Co-production of Mike Shepherds first show post Kneehigh Calvino Nights at the Minack & Lost Gardens of Heligan, co-directed with Elayce Ismail (April-May 22)

  • SWIM by Liz Richardson co-production w Theatre by the Lake & TEAM + Cumbrian rural & Cornish coastal tour – with a wild swimming outreach project & free audio experience in partnership with the National Trust. (April-July 22)

  • Terra Coda – Benji Bowers 47 piece climate activist reimagined orchestra. Premiered at MAYFEST Bristol (May22) and reworked for imPOSSIBLEs Falmouth International Arts Fest pilot (July 2022)

  • Didos Bar - tales of migration, coproduction with Dash Arts, developed in Cornwall & performing Oct 22 Royal Docks as our ongoing commitment to Newham, London, plus a UK and International Tour.

  • Feeling Afraid as if Something Terrible is Going to Happen, by Marcelo Dos Santos, we supported the creation of this piece through our Island artist development programme and this show is now receiving 5* reviews in its Edinburgh run produced by Fleabag Producer Francesca Moody.

  • Escaping Houdini w Island artists creator Ammar Haj Ahmad, director Matthew Xia, magic consultant Chris Cox and dramaturg Alix Harris. Developed in Cornwall, New Diorama + BAC. Co-production with ATC and BAC planned for 2023 ahead of a UK tour.

  • Developing A Child of Science by Cornwall based writer Gareth Farr with director Matthew Dunster (2:22, Hangmen) and producers Smith&Brant (Come from Away / Cabaret). Production planning in progress for 2023.

  • Supporting the development of a new family beatboxing musical with RODIUM and Battersea Arts Centre for UK tour with embedded engagement programme

  • Led & collaborated on Creators Programme initiatives w Young Vic inc VR project w Deaf, Disabled and Neurodiverse artists, Digital Content creation & TikTok partnership + OffGrid retreats in Cornwall for Creators Program members.

  • Producing Masterclasses w Hall for Cornwall, National Student Drama Festival, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Plymouth College of Art, Plymouth Conservatoire & Falmouth University.

  • Partnered with RTYDS, Tobacco Factory, Exeter Northcott, Hall for Cornwall & Beyond Face to deliver New Directions South West for 20 SW emerging artists.

  • Cultural strategy sessions w Theatre Royal Plymouth, Battersea Arts Centre & Trebah Gardens.

  • Falmouth International Arts Festival July 22. 40 free and ticketed events over 7 days including performances of Terra Coda (Climate Change orchestra), Ockhams Razor participatory parkour performance & BAC Beatbox Academy, family & schools programme, pop up wonder encounters, community workshops, student placements, public events & talks testing our model for 2023 & beyond.
